Between 1991 and 1995, Barbara Bosworth made photographs in Montana, Canada and Alaska, where she sought refuge in the forests and wide spaces of the North, and found communion with the hunters of these vast landscapes. Her large format pictures are imbued with a reverence for the land and a respect for the people she met there.
